In this role, you’ll manage the flow of inventory, ensuring stock accuracy and efficient order fulfillment while keeping operational costs in check. You’ll work closely with suppliers, monitor product performance, and maintain strong compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the team to streamline processes, contribute to meeting sales targets, and ensure that our inventory supports customer demand without overstocking. Duties & Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Accurately track and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock levels are optimized to avoid overstock or stockouts.
Order Fulfillment: Oversee and coordinate the fulfillment process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, minimizing delays.
Stock Accuracy: Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain 100% accuracy between physical stock and recorded inventory.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, monitor supplier performance, and address any issues such as defects or delays.
Cost Management: Manage inventory costs effectively by tracking the cost of goods sold (COGS) and carrying costs of inventory, aiming to minimize unnecessary expenses.
Shipping & Receiving: Organize the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring smooth logistics operations, including tracking shipments and resolving any issues.
Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records, updating stock movements, and generating regular reports, for the sales and marketing teams.
Reorder Point Accuracy: Monitor inventory levels to determine reorder points, ensuring that replenishment orders are placed accurately and on time to avoid disruptions.
Operational Efficiency: Improve operational processes for warehouse space utilization, order processing time, and overall efficiency in inventory handling.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all inventory and logistics operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
Support Sales Goals: Assist in achieving sales performance targets by ensuring that top selling products are always in stock and available for purchase.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to align inventory with customer demand, resolve any product issues, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Budget Adherence: Ensure that all orders and inventory related expenditures stay within the defined budget, helping to minimize unnecessary expenses.
Online Order Fulfillment: Process, package, and ship online orders efficiently, ensuring orders are filled accurately and shipped out on time to meet customer expectations.

Logistics Expertise: A solid understanding of the logistics process, including shipping, receiving, and order processing, to support the company's growth and customer satisfaction goals.
Required Experience
Inventory Management: Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
Logistics and Shipping: Experience with coordinating shipments, managing shipping schedules, and resolving shipping or delivery issues.
Order Fulfillment: Proven track record in efficiently processing and shipping orders, particularly for ecommerce or retail businesses.
Supplier Coordination: Experience working with suppliers, including managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and addressing supply chain issues.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software, ERP systems, or similar platforms for tracking stock levels, processing orders, and generating reports.
Data Entry and Reporting: Strong skills in accurate data entry and the ability to generate and analyze inventory and sales performance reports.
Warehouse Operations: Experience in organizing and maintaining a warehouse or stockroom, including knowledge of best practices for space utilization and inventory safety.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve stock discrepancies, handle supplier issues, and manage logistical challenges efficiently.
Team Collaboration: Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and procurement, to align inventory needs with company goals.
Customer Service: Experience in customer service or supporting customers through accurate order fulfillment and timely communication regarding shipments or stock availability.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Postsecondary education in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is an asset.
Relevant certifications in inventory management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CPIM) are a plus.
Training or coursework in warehouse management systems or inventory control software is preferred.

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $21-$23 per hour, based on experience
