FERIDO

Beads: Plain, Ferido, spikes, and more!

Beads  can come in a variety of shapes, sizes, materials, and colours. You'll find externally threaded beads with holes in them, internally threaded beads with threaded stems, pressure fitted beads with dimples, spikes, jewels, and more!

The majority of externally threaded jewelry uses beads interchangeably, if the gauges are the same. Basically, a bead from a 16g labret will fit on a 16g eyebrow ring. This is sometimes true of internally threaded jewelry, but it depends on things like the gauge and manufacturer. Even within the same brand, they may not fit universally.

The beads in a CBR fit universally- meaning there is no 14g or 16g beads. Still though, you'll need a larger bead for a heavier gauge to secure it properly- smaller beads will likely pop out! So how does it work? There are dimples on either side of the bead, lining up with the ends of the open ring, which is what holds the bead in place, using the ring’s pressure.
