Hello I'm Stephen!

I’ve always been passionate about creating artwork that connects with people on a personal level. Tattooing felt like a natural evolution of my art — a way to combine my background in fine arts with a craft that lives and grows with the person wearing it.

I started tattooing in 2021 and joined the BodyMods team in 2025. Over the years, I’ve explored a wide range of tattoo styles including traditional, black and grey, watercolor, dotwork, blackwork, illustrative, and Japanese. My favorite styles are realistic black and grey and illustrative — especially when I can mix realism with stylized line work to create something truly unique.

With a background in fine arts and a degree from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, I bring over 20 years of artistic experience to every piece I create. My work in painting, design, and murals has given me a strong sense of composition, flow, and detail. I take time with each tattoo to make sure it’s perfectly balanced between my artistic vision and my client’s ideas.

Outside of tattooing, I love painting, creating digital art, spending time outdoors, and constantly exploring new art techniques.

I’m passionate about making sure every client feels comfortable and confident throughout the process — and leaves with a piece that feels meaningful, personal, and one-of-a-kind.
